“I drew this picture to make people aware of what happens in every day life. People hurt each other. All for different reasons, all of those reasons stupid. I see it all the time, down the hall, in my class, everywhere.
Although I know that sometimes I chicken out to help people, I’m getting better.
Maybe one day I can stand up for who needs help without hesitating, but for now I dedicate this picture to those who have been bullied or made fun of or misunderstood.
People who feel uneasy, sad, or are crying after reading this, I congratulate you. You have made the first step, the step that you need to take to help those in need. The step of realization.”
