The book is about Shannon, a sensitive, artistic kid who gets picked on a lot at school, but doesn’t get much sympathy from his dad or his teachers. When things get too tough, he imagines that he’s a superhero with the power to fight back, and that gives him the nerve to stand up for himself. But when Shannon faces his most devastating challenge, will the power within be enough to save him?
