“In the middle of a sunny day, I was walking home alone. There were two boys walking towards me. I moved to one side and they to the other. When we reached the same point one tried pushing me into the road into oncoming traffic. Not for walking into them, not for giving them funny looks, not for looking at them at all, but simply for looking different. After getting home I found myself thinking about 4 years of bullying at school. I then had the idea for this photo as a way to express myself.”
