A LITTLE TALK WITH MYSELF, by Mariana Mellado

~A Little Talk With Myself, by Mariana Mellado
At the end, the only one who can put an end to it is you.
So the little girl crying is me, and the other one is my OC Melody, who represents a much stronger and braver part of me. During the past months I’ve been a victim of bullying. The reason? Being who I am.
I’ve been humiliated, laughed at, physically assaulted. And even tho I told my parents, teachers and other authorities no one dared to do anything about it, saying that they’re were just playing. During this whole time the only thing I could do was to endure it, hoping they would get bored of me and leave me alone. But they never did. And finally one afternoon, while crying alone in my bedroom, I realized how sick I was of it. Sick of crying, of running, of being scared all the time, but most of all sick of worrying my friends.

This pic represents a promise to myself. I’m going to be strong, I’ll stop being scared of these people, and I’m going to raise my voice and stand against these people. I won’t be their victim anymore. I’m going to be myself, I’ll do what I like to do, and I won’t let anyone make me feel bad about it ever again.
