GET HIM GOOD, by Jonny Sexton

~Get Him Good, by Jonny Sexton
“This piece concerns the doubt and self-hatred my experiences led me to possess. When I was younger, I was very self-conscious about certain elements of my appearance and personality, and the experiences in which my peers pointed these insecurities out and mocked me for them led me to become a overly-cautious, doubtful, very distant person who drove people away and avoided opportunities when they arose. This piece metaphorically displays this path of self-sabotage with reference to the bullying involved.”
