Who told them they are better than everyone?
Who told them it was okay to act like this?
Who told them ‘love all unless they are different’?
This era, I mean–
the one who has bred a new level of intolerance
the one who is teaching people how to kill with words rather than stones
who is telling them it’s okay,
who lets them behave this way?
Now a girl is crying alone because that’s all she can be – alone.
Now a boy can’t decide if it’s all worth it – life.
I don’t know exactly why it’s so common – hate.
I do know how we could be, how we should be
and I know how to make a difference,
how to help, how to save a life,
but I just don’t have the courage to do it in the spotlight.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything boil down to the same thing in the end?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
when the kid crying
ends up being you?
