~Only This One Thought Keeps Me Going, by Avery Jace
“(I felt like doing a picture about transgendered youth…Seeing as how I’m youthful and trans. Except, I’m the other way around.) So, Jack feels that he should have been born female. He wants to go by Jackie. He feels like he identifies with females more than males. However, society’s gender role was forced upon him as soon as his parents found out his chromosomes were XY. SHE’S doing her best. JACKIE’S doing her best. To pull through to adult hood. That one blue thought, supporters, is what makes is pull through. If you see bullying, stop that shit. Help the kid. They’re just being themselves, they did nothing wrong. It isn’t hurting the other person.”
