“This is a sculpture I made which is a papier mache cast of my torso with 40 roofing nails pushed through it, each one bearing a flag printed with a name that I’ve been called. Also attached to each nail is a seven foot length of red yarn, so that when the piece is hung the yarn pools on the floor.”
