Beginnings have the seeds of endings masked
so brightening reveals no fading clues
of joys decreased and increased questions asked.
One sees sad lacking gain, fulfillment lose.
All growth within has tainting of decay
so great achievement hides its final ruin
of comfort lost and greatness gone astray.
One fears discouragement by bully bruin.
Unsure those moving out hold moving back
so intimate the new adventure chimes
of travel wild on isolated track.
One heeds no random hints of fleeting times.
No world worth living in is ever still,
stagnation stealing time the soul will kill.
