In this poem, I envisioned a young boy or girl being bullied in school because they were viewed as being different. Whether that be because they are “too short” or have an “unusual hair color” or whatever it may be, they must know that they are not alone. I hope when reading this poem, the reader feels as if he/she is receiving a warm hug. I’m sure that the person being bullied may feel broken and alone now, but it’s important to remember that the pain will pass, and they will eventually heal and rise up again.
