Bystander
I watched her
My eyes glued
Pupils followed every step
She was
Excluded
Distant
Anxious
Seemingly put-together
But undeniably
Broken altogether
Would you know?
She stood there
Settled
She watched
As they walked up
A group
She panicked
How fantastic!
She really thought…
To befriend?
Why pretend?
She was fooled
They laughed
They attacked
Until
Thoughts went downhill
My ears glued this time
I listened
What a horrible situation
She was truly a beautiful creation
To remind her
Of her kind
Graceful
Praiseful
And simply
Beautiful
But depending on fate
It might have been too late
Because at the end of the day
Those words were like thornes
She was torn
And I
I was just a bystander.
