Michele Hill, Psychology Professor and licensed therapist, worked with You Will Rise to incorporate Art Against Bullying into her Community Based Learning course at Columbus College of Art and Design – where students would learn outside the classroom with hands on experience. The next year, students came forward hoping to expand the program to other high schools thus giving opportunity for more voices to be heard and more stories shared. Three years later, graduated and settled in their professional creative careers, these young artists are working to build a new program built on the morals, openness, and hope they found in You Will Rise. With the help of Wild Goose Creative they launched their first set of workshops Fall 2018, and we couldn’t be more proud.
